‘Step into Your Personal Power and Thrive’
|
Welcome to the Journey!
Breakthroughs happen all around us. Look at Barak Obama, a man of mixed African and European descent, American President and leader of the Western world, something that many people until recently, didn't think was possible.
Women of all cultural backgrounds are making great strides and finding success in the highest places. Many of you also know that we can’t yet take all this for granted, so when you look to your success, ethnicity, religion and cultural background can influence and shape not just your past, but also your present and future.
Our world journey has included knock-backs, sometimes rejections, sometimes just fighting to get to where we want to be. Often there isn’t enough time for us, space to look at, explore and meet our needs, time out away from the family and community to align our 'inner core with our outer being'.
For some women that doesn’t matter, but for others it does. Who you are and how you make sense of your identity in a multi-cultural world can be an important part of your life-journey.
...the 'Step into Your Personal Power and Thrive' programme will help you to overcome obstacles and flourish, you will get a 'safe space' to explore:
- Your career needs and how they fit with your life purpose
- Your core ‘identity’ and the beliefs and values that support that
- Your career/ professional development objectives, what do you really, really want?
- Explore workplace dynamics, what's holding you back?
- Address personal issues of identity and community that might be affecting your progress
- Be part of a group of like-minded women
- Focus on what you need to feel and be a Powerful Woman in all areas of your life
As you Step into Your Personal Power you will:
 |
Become more confident in your ability to make changes to create the future you desire and deserve. |
 |
Have a renewed sense of identity through exploring and creating strategies to overcome the 'glass ceiling' |
 |
Get 'unstuck' by challenging 'limited belief systems' and working on the parts of yourself that you want to change |
 |
Take more direct action to overcome internal obstacles, lack of self-belief or cultural conditioning that is outdated and no longer serves you. |
 |
Share other women's experiences and notice how their stories and celebrations echo your own (a profound way to acknowledge and honour your own life). |
 |
Get support from other women on a similar journey. |
Take control of your inner confidence and make decisions to ' drive your life and career foward' in the way that you want. You will come away from the programme with a clear timeline and plan for achieving your goals and a comprehensive strategy for overcoming obstacles, both external and internal.
- Does it make you want to be part of this creative and engaging 7 week journey?
- Does it make you want to become part of this group?
- If so please come and join me, there is space for 8 MEMBERS ONLY

"I followed the group coaching programme, Step Into Your Personal Power, with a group of women I had never met before and had a series of one to one coaching sessions with Sonya alongside. This was the first time I had done group coaching and I was really surprised how effective I found these sessions together. The mix of women was just right and we had a great dynamic. I also found the topics covered, very inspiring and informative.
"On a practical level I jumped forward in leaps and bounds on my own small business creation and haven't looked back... Before the programme I had been really stuck and mulling around for months wondering how I was going to take things forward, since doing 'Step Into Your Personal Power' I have now taken and continue to take the necessary steps to drive it forward... I feel really confident in facing the next stages of my project having been through the programme."

"The best thing was having a coach who was both nurturing and challenging, who knew how to push my buttons and make me consider my behaviour from a neutral position."

"Sonya has the ability to challenge and support simultaneously, she leads whilst handing you the reins, she does not direct but inspires action by inviting you to make a commitment to a self chosen next step. She has the gift of listening. It was always so encouraging to hear her summarise what you had been saying throughout the session. She also had the ability to hold themes from other sessions and link them together in subsequent sessions which has made an important contribution to helping me as a client know myself better."

"My experience of The Step into Your Personal Power Programmme was an interesting and fulfiling one and has made a positive impact on my progress to date... The group members were a well balanced mix, with the maturity to appreciate each other's issues and feedback contributions that helped towards finding solutions to my personal and professional situation.
"Sonya, I felt privileged to have had your professional input. Your non judgemental, reflective approach has made a big difference in enabling me to recognise potential hurdles and explore ways forward. I would recommend this programme to all liked minded, "mature" females who feel "stuck" in making personal progress in their lives. "

'The Personal Compass' is a visual workbook' that offers you an opportunity to deepen your connection to your vision and life purpose using pictures and words.
As we go through the process of defining your career and life vision and goals, this workbook will support you through looking at where you have been, where you are now and where your going in the future.
We’ll spend some time identifying core issues for professional women and I’ll coach you around specific issues and facilitate the conversations within the group. We'll overlay all of this with a discussion about what it means to be a diverse group of professional women working in these uncertain times.

The course consists of 7 WEEKLY calls on Wednesday evenings.
New dates being added soon
Call times: 7.00pm-8.30pm (UK Time)
Q. HOW DOES THE GROUP OPERATE?
The group is a 7 week ‘virtual cohort’ this means that we will meet by tele-conference call weekly for 6 weeks.
Calls are every Wednesday evening and are 90 minutes in length and all calls are recorded in case you want to listen again or are unable to make some of the live calls.
Q. HOW DOES TELE-CONFERENCING WORK?
It's very easy, at the appointed time you call into a special tele-conference number (a UK number that you pay the regular phone rates for. Or you can call in using Skype if you have that service.
Q. WHAT IF I MISS A CALL?
All calls will be recorded, so you can listen to anything you missed and review at your leisure, I’ll send you a MP3 that you can download at your leisure after each call.
Please Note: Additional private coaching calls will be scheduled between each group member and myself separately.
Q. WHAT WILL BE THE COURSE CONTENT ON EACH CALL?
We will cover each part of the workbook on selected evenings allowing space on other weeks for specific coaching and mentoring. Alongside the core course there will be space to talk about setting goals for your personal and professional life.
Participants will be coming with a mix of personal and work issues, as the coach and guide I will ensure there is fair and even sharing of time and attention. I’ll be asking you to bring material to the group to share with the others and coaching you, ‘in the moment’ at other times.
Every week we will have a ‘check-in’ time at the start for you to review how your week has been and what you are bringing to session that week. I’ll ask if anyone specifically has anything they would like to be coached on during the session.
Q. HOW MANY WOMEN WILL BE IN THE GROUP?
I have over 20 years experience facilitating groups and I know that a good and effective group size for this type of programme is 8-10. This size enables participants to become comfortable and get to know other members of the group in a ‘safe space’ to raise personal issues and seek help on specific areas of their own personal development. For this group I will be limiting the numbers to 8 members.
You have three options to choose from, and depending on the choice you make, the prices are...
Option 1. Basic option of 7 x 1½ hr group calls |
£350 |
| Option 2. Include 2 Private 1:1 individual coaching calls |
£650 |
| Option 3. Include 4 Private 1:1 individual coaching calls |
£860 |
* Fees are in British Pounds, see www.xe.com for conversion
All options include the Personal Compass workbook worth $45
It’s something that I’ve got used to doing with my own personal and professional development and it’s a good way to invest over several months.
So you have the choice to make one full payment up front, or you can
divide your payment into 2 or 4 instalments (first payment upon registration, then every 30 days for the remainder of the plan).
Cultural difference is my strength and I’ve coached women from a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, from the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and of course the UK and Europe. I’m feeling really excited about this new group and looking forward to creating a great community of like minded souls.
Come and make a change that will have a lasting effect in your life.
